The Politics of Race, Immigration and Ethnicity Consortium Conference begins Nov 14 at 2 pm with a workshop on "Using GIS in Your Research." The invited evening speaker is Dr. Ron Jarmin, Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer from the U.S. Census Bureau speaking on "Potential Research Possibilities and Challenges in Using the 2020 Census Data." Nov. 15 will begin at 9 am with research presentations by individual scholars. Be looking for more details about the PRIEC conference -including the call for research presenters, and other logistics - forthcoming in early September.
