Dolores Huerta at UNT | Latina/o and Mexican-American Studies

Join LMAS and the University of North Texas in welcoming Dolores Huerta on April 3rd, 2018 at 6:30pm for a premier showing of her documentary, "Dolores", illustrating her achievements. Following the film, we will talk with both Dolores about her achievements as a source of inspiration for the film.

Dolores Huerta is an American civil rights icon best known for her profound influence on labor practices for farm workers and within the agricultural industry. She is now the subject of the new documentary "Dolores", produced by Carlos Santana. Dolores Huerta will be having a panel discussion following the premier showing of the documentary on April 3rd, 2018 at 6:30pm in the UNT Lyceum. Join us to celebrate her achievements and to learn how she inspired the film.
