The Latina/o and Mexican American Studies (LMAS) program is pleased to announce the availability of three (3) Undergraduate Research Fellowships of $1,000 each for the academic year 2021-2022.

Each student selected as a Research Fellow will complete a research project with the assistance/supervision of a faculty mentor. Research projects can focus on any topics relating to or benefiting Latina/o populations. Additional funding up to $500 is also available for the Research Fellow to travel to a conference to present their research

All applications must be submitted via email to Dr. Martinez (valmartinez@unt.edu) by 5 p.m. on May 1, 2021. Students selected to be LMAS Undergraduate Research Fellows will be notified by e-mail by May 15, 2021.
