Cesar Chavez Day is a US federal commemorative holiday, begun by the government in 2014 and has been celebrated in our country since the year of 2000. This holiday is annually recognized on March 31st and it celebrates the birth and legacy of the civil rights and labor movement activist, Cesar Chavez.
This year in collaboration with the Center for Leadership and Service, Office of Outreach, and our UNT Organizations, we will be having the inaugural Cesar Chavez Day of Action at the University of North Texas. This will occur on Wednesday, March 31st. from 3:00 - 5:00 PM virtually.
