The history department and Latina/o and Mexican-American Studies (LMAS) program are co-hosting a public talk by Dr. Andrew Paxman entitled: "A Southerner South of the Border: How William Jenkins Became Mexico's Richest Industrialist."
The talk will take place on Monday, Feb 12, 2018, at 3:30pm in BLB 090. Please let your students know about it and, certainly, LMAS would love to see some of you at this event. Among others, Dr. Paxman draws parallels between the US South and parts of Mexico.
Please view the attached flyer HERE for more details on the event!
